Assalamualaikum and hello to Dr Fariza and my fellow classmates. Hope all of you are healthy and happy. This week class was very informative. Dr Fariza really an expert for this course. She started off the class with a lecture regarding Microsoft Word. It is clear that we are making our research report by using Microsoft Word. I use Microsoft Word regularly when I am doing my assignments or any other works.
However, I do admit that I lack the knowledge about every menu buttons on it. I was never take much time to explore Microsoft Word. Dr Fariza taught us how to use shortcuts when we want to make our research report. This was very informative and useful for students like us because it can help save more time. Moreover, it can make our report more organized. Some of the topics needed to be included in the report are like Introduction, Literature Review, and so on.
So, how does the shortcuts work? First of all, bring your cursor to the REFERENCE BUTTON on top of the menu ribbon and you can find a TABLE OF CONTENT. Click on the button and you can easily see the table of contents appear on your page. Seriously, I never knew the actual function of it. I was happy to know the shortcuts because it can really help me to finish my assignments faster. Usually, I just to the table of content manually. It was quite hard to adjust the spacing.
Surely, this knowledge will be useful for my teaching career. Insyallah, I will be a teacher with God’s will. This is one of the ICT skills a teacher need to possess. It is important to learn all of this skills early as it can help along the way of becoming an educator. This course really giving me a lot of advantages and I am very grateful to Dr Fariza.
