Assalamualaikum and hello to Dr Fariza and my fellow friends. We meet again for our Computer in Education class this week. This week, Dr Fariza started off the class by asking the progress of our survey questionnaire. The questionnaire is actually the part of our research of Learning about ICT.
My group’s questionnaire was not fully completed yet and we had to continue doing it while in class. It was very considerate of Dr Fariza to give us some time on finishing it. It is not a very good examples of doing your homework in class, still, here we are trying our best to come out with some questions. Our survey questionnaire was divided into five section which are Demographic Section, Section B, Section B, Section C and Section D. After looking at the other group works, Dr Fariza came to check on my group. She corrected some of our questions and teaches us how to make the questions to be more proper and suitable for a survey questionnaire. She even suggested a few ways to improve our questionnaire. For instance, she had asked focus on a specific objectives for all the sections. This has make our questionnaire more organized and easy to understand.
Moreover, I have learnt that we actually can make a survey using Google Form. I can tell you it is very easy to use. Dr Fariza taught us very explicitly on how to utilize it for our survey questionnaire. Moreover, using Google Form is very convenient because it can help us to calculate the respondent’s results. We do not have to do it manually because it can be very complicated to calculate it one by one. We can preview all the data collected in Google Sheet. All the questionnaire that we made was distributed through social media such as Whatsapp, Wechat and many more. Some may think that social media is not suitable to carry out this kind of work. Nevertheless, these are the fastest medium to obtain results for the questionnaire. In my opinion, it can save a lot of time. Additionally, it is actually lower cost than actually distributing printed questionnaire.
